Jery's Batteries Platformer

A project created by my friend and I.

It's a relatively short game in which we play as Jery - an apprentice who works under the supervision of a powerful wizard named Walter the White in a tower far far away.

One day, Walter was watching his favorite visions through his trusty orb, when suddenly tragedy struck - the orb's batteries ran out! So of course he sends Jery (us) on a mission to retrieve a new pair from the dungeons deep beneath what is generally accessible to most.

Is it dangerous? Of course!
Will you die? Constantly!
Will it be worth it? Definitely.

Currently the game has 18 levels  - basically a demo.

Controls:

A&D/Arrow keys - move left and right
Space/W/UpArrow - jump
R - Restart current level
LEFT Shift - strike a cool pose
Esc - Open pause button (careful, it just makes it so you lose control over Jery, turrets still shoot). It also open a menu where you can swap between levels!
You can slide along walls - that feels like something worth mentioning.

The game is difficult. It's okay if you find some levels hard to beat and decide to skip them! The only level you'd have to finish is the last one in order to watch the ending cutscene.

Also, feel free to leave a comment saying what you've enjoyed and what you feel like should change or maybe be added in the future levels. Feedback is always welcome :D
